Jared Cook was the top free agent signing by the team last offseason and then went out and led the team in receiving last season with 688 yards. That speaks more to how poorly the rest of the receiving corps played, but still it’s a credit to him. It was a career high 54 catches for him and his second most receiving yards.
Former third round pick Clive Walford made nine catches last season, which apparently was enough for some fans to say he “showed flashes”. He enters the final year of his rookie contract and has yet to be the all-around talent he was billed as coming out of Miami.
