It’s been a rough game for the offense, but Derek Carr has now delivered twice where it matters most, which is in the redzone.
After getting the ball back thanks to Khalil Mack’s safety, Carr and offense marched down the field to take the lead in the 4th quarter.
On 3rd & 15 two times previously in this same game, Musgrave called a bubble screen. It didn’t work either time. On this play, they faked the bubble screen and Denver bit, leading to Rivera running free to the endzone.
Carr delivered a strike. Rivera bobbled it a bit, but he gained possession with both feet in bounds.
