Las Vegas is known for its magic shows, but this was far from entertaining...
Nothing from the Las Vegas Raiders' offseason indicated that they were in for a 3-14 campaign during the 2025 NFL season. Hindsight is always 20-20, but there was no reason to believe that the team was going to be so uncompetitive under Pete Carroll.
Looking back, one problem was bad coaching decisions and players not living up to their contracts. Another aspect was John Spytek letting too many of the Raiders' best players leave in free agency and not replacing them adequately.
