With so much attention on the relocation news regarding the Oakland Raiders being approved to move to Las Vegas and how it all went down, one thing has been forgotten. Has anyone asked if this is the “right” city for the Raiders? Will “Sin City” possibly catch up to this team?
The city that was “founded” during the heyday of the American Mafia by the legendary Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel is an interesting choice to host a new football team — especially one as polarizing as the Raiders.
While the media may exaggerate some of the cons of moving to this “oasis in the desert”, it’s possible the distractions might be the undoing of a team sooner rather than later because after all, football players are human.
