The NFL Play 60 Challenge is a joint program of the Oakland Raiders, American Heart Association (AHA), and the National Football League. Play 60 is designed to inspire elementary and middle school students to be active 60 minutes a day – 30 minutes at school and 30 minutes at home. The program helps schools become places that encourage physically active lifestyles year-round!
Play 60 is open to public and private schools (4th – 8th graders) in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. Prizes are awarded to schools and students who excel in the Play 60 Challenge. The school with the highest average minutes of daily physical activity per student during the challenge will receive a special Oakland Raiders themed event at their school!
