When the new league year begins Wednesday, the Raiders will sign linebacker Bruce Irvin, a source confirmed to CSN California Tuesday evening.
The 28-year-old Irvin was a first-round pick by the Seahawks in 2012. In four seasons with the Seahawks, Irvin racked up 131 tackles, 22 sacks and picked off three passes.
If the deal is completed, Irvin will be reunited with Raiders defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr., who served as Seattle's linebackers coach from 2010 to 2014.
Irvin's reported addition comes on the heels of the Raiders agreeing in principle to a deal with offensive lineman Kelechi Osemele on Tuesday.
