The other day, I posted an article saying the Raiders and free-agent running back Jeremy Hill were close to an agreement. Hill made it official on Twitter on Sunday.
As I mentioned in the original article, this is a great move for the Raiders. Hill was an absolute stud during his first three years in the NFL, totaling 29 touchdowns. Injuries have riddled his career, as he missed all of 2019 recovering from a torn ACL.
If healthy, he’s a solid backup option for Josh Jacobs, and could give them some solid touches should Jacobs go down with an injury.
