Silver Minings: PFF values Clelin Ferrell more than Maxx Crosby

Clelin Ferrell and Maxx Crosby will always be connected together.

They were drafted together in 2019. Ferrell was the No. 4 overall draft pick and Crosby was a fourth-round pick. Now close friends, the pair have been the Raiders’ starting defensive ends in their first two seasons.

Crosby had a better rookie season than Ferrell as he had 10 sacks. While Ferrell has been a better player against the run, he hasn’t had as many impact plays as Crosby, who has 17 sacks in two years. Ferrell has 6.5 career sacks.
