SIlver Minings: Jevon Holland would be a legacy draft pick

Oregon’s Jevon Holland is one of the most highly-ranked safeties in the April 29-May 1 draft. He could easily be a second-round pick. That may be exactly where the Las Vegas Raiders look to add a safety. The Raiders pick No. 48 in the second round.

If the Raiders do take Holland, it would make for a great story. He is from Oakland and his coach at Bishop O’Dowd High School there was none other than Napoleon Kaufman. The Raiders took Kaufman with the No. 18 overall pick in the first round of the 1995 draft, which was held 26 years ago Thursday.
