Silver Minings: Henry Ruggs III helping needy Las Vegas residents

Wide receiver Henry Ruggs III hasn’t been a Las Vegas Raider for a full week yet, he is already doing good for the community.

The Alabama product who the Raiders drafted with the No. 12 overall pick last Thursday night has announced he will be selling custom T-shirts to help provide food to needy families in Las Vegas. A part of the proceeds also go to a foundation in Ruggs’ home of Montgomery, Alabama.

Ruggs deserves a lot of credit to initiate this program to help in his new city quickly after getting drafted.
