Raiders’ owner Mark Davis talked to the Dallas Morning News on Wednesday about the possibility of the NFL draft closing or canceling the NFL draft in Las Vegas.
“The league office, the [NFL] Players Association and the city and the state are working together,” Davis said. “They’re making a measured decision. Health and safety will always be No. 1.”
Meanwhile, ESPN is reporting that the NFL plans to start free agency on Wednesday, March 18, as planned. The legal tampering period starts Monday.
The NFL Network reported that many teams are canceling their pre-draft visits (each team gets 30 each).
