In the first surprise cut for the Las Vegas Raiders on Tuesday, the team is reportedly saying goodbye to 2016 first-round pick Karl Joseph for a second time.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported Tuesday afternoon the safety is one of the team’s cuts as it gets to the 53-man roster deadline by 1 p.m. PT Tuesday.
Joseph was signed this offseason to be a key backup for the Raiders. He received $987,5000 in guaranteed money. The Raiders made Joseph the No. 14 overall draft pick in 2016. He didn’t make much of an impact with the Raiders.
