The Raiders are actively walking down what owner Mark Davis calls a "parallel path" to getting a new stadium.
While some details of the latest proposal to keep the Raiders in Oakland has been panned by critics and defended by developer Floyd Kephart, Davis and Chargers owner Dean Spanos were in Los Angeles discussing a privately-financed $1.7 billion project in the suburb of Carson.
Davis and Spanos met with L.A. mayor Eric Garcetti and other public officials to discuss a project that could bring the NFL back to the nation’s second-largest media market, the Los Angeles Times reported.
