Las Vegas Raiders, along with every other NFL team, routinely work out unsigned players on Tuesdays during the NFL season.
However, there was nothing routine about the Raiders’ workout list this Tuesday. Three of the four players Las Vegas took a peak at Tuesday are all former first-round draft picks. The headliner is former Raiders’ first-round pick, cornerback D.J. Hayden. The Raiders, then in Oakland, drafted Hayden out of Houston with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2013 draft.
Along with Hayden, cornerback Darqueze Dennard and offensive lineman D.J. Fluker are both former first-round draft picks.
