Though the Raiders played a good team tough, they still lost when the clock struck zero. With that loss comes the fall in the power rankings again. Couple that with the Arizona Cardinals surprise win against the Packers and several outlets dropped Oakland to last place again in their rankings.
Not the mothership site though, SB Nation went another direction entirely by playfully ranking the teams by their writer’s own bias instead of the usual best to worst power rankings. That one ranking ballooned the average for the week so that it actually technically went up, but if not for that random ranking they would have dropped from last week’s 30.
