Raiders sign tight end Nick O’Leary

Ending a two-hour signing drought, the Raiders went back to work Saturday afternoon and inked tight end Nick O’Leary.

Yes, the Raiders have five tight ends now. Something has to give. O’Leary joined former Dallas star Jason Witten as one of the Raiders’ 11 new free-agent signing.

They join starter Darren Waller, second-year player Foster Moreau and veteran Derek Carrier. Most teams keep three tight ends. So, at least, one of these players won’t make the team. Waller and Moreau are safe.

O’Leary, who will turn 28 in August, has 53 catches in five seasons with three teams.
