Raiders sign Max Valles, James Stone to practice squad

ALAMEDA — The Raiders added two more players to their practice squad Monday from outside the organization and appear to have the team in place that will begin preparations to face the Tennessee Titans in the regular-season opener in Nashville.

Joining the 10-man practice squad were defensive end Max Valles and center James Stone.

Valles (6-foot-4, 250 pounds) was originally a Reggie McKenzie draft pick in the 2015, taken in the sixth round, No. 179 overall, and did not make the 53-man roster. Valles spent much of that season on the Raiders practice squad before being signed to the 53-man roster of the Buffalo Bills.
