Johnson was a fifth-round pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2020. The Jaguars waived Johnson in 2021 and he claimed by the New York Giants. He tore his achilles in 2022 and then the Giants cut him in 2023. He was signed to the Chicago Bears’ practice squad in 2023 and signed to the 53-man roster toward the end of the season.
