It took some time to get a deal done, but the Las Vegas Raiders finally got second-round pick Jack Bech under contract on Thursday.
The wide receiver out of TCU was involved in unexpected drama this offseason, as second-round picks across the NFL were hoping to get fully guaranteed money on their rookie deals. While some at the top of the round were able to do so, it has been confirmed that Bech’s contract is not fully guaranteed. It will likely be chalked up as a ‘no harm, no foul’ moment for both player and team, and Bech at least will get most of his first NFL training camp to catch up.
