The first negative player-team development of the Antonio Pierce interim coaching tenure apparently is happening as the Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly expected to release starting cornerback Marcus Peters, according to The Athletic.

Peters, in his first season with the Raiders, was benched in the second quarter Sunday in a 31-17 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs in favor of Jack Jones.
