Raiders report card: Too much Deshaun Watson, too many penalties in loss to Texans

How the Raiders’ graded Sunday in a 27-24 loss road loss to the Houston Texans:

PASS OFFENSE: B

Derek Carr was 18 of 30 for 285 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. And the whole “ball isn’t traveling enough in the air” issues are dissipating as well. His 65-yard touchdown pass to Hunter Renfrow, was mostly a run-after-catch, but his scramble adjustment on a 46-yard scoring pass to Tyrell Williams was one of his best plays of the season and he also executed a right roll to Darren Waller for a touchdown. Only one truly bad decision — Carr was fortunate it wasn’t returned for a touchdown.
