OAKLAND — Here is how the Raiders graded in their 24-16 season-opening win Monday night against the Denver Broncos:
PASS OFFENSE: B-plus
Quarterback Derek Carr executed the game-plan with calm and precision, completing 22 of 26 passes for 259 yards. He directed first-half touchdown drives of 72 and 95 yards. Denver defenders and coach Vic Fangio took note of Carr’s ability to get rid of the ball quickly, helping negate the pass rush. Wide receiver Tyrell Williams (Antonio who?) caught six passes for 105 yards and the 8-yard touchdown to open the game in his debut with both the Raiders and as the No.
