In the latest update of power rankings made by the national media, Peter King of Sports Illustrated’s Monday Morning Quarterback is showing quite a bit of love to the Oakland Raiders.
King revealed his top 16 teams in part two of the series, noting that there would be some surprises near the top. One of those surprises is surely the Raiders, who King has ranked 2nd overall.
As far as why King has Oakland ranked that high, here is what he had to say:
