Not good news for the hopes the Raiders can field a healthy secondary against the Patriots top offense Sunday. Two days after Gareon Conley was sent to injured reserve, David Amerson was still not practicing with his foot injury.
Last week the Raiders had just three healthy corners and didn’t add anyone either as a free agent or from the practice squad for depth. Their only move was to activate rookie safety Obi Melifonwu who played 7 snaps.
Today the Raiders were still fielding just TJ Carrie, Sean Smith, and Dexter McDonald at cornerback.
