The Oakland Raiders are mourning the loss of longtime Raiders equipment manager Richard Romanski, who passed away this morning.
“The Raiders family is saddened by the passing of Richard Romanski,” said Raiders Owner Mark Davis. “Dick was a loyal and tireless professional for over five decades with the franchise and he is one of the building blocks upon which the Raiders organization was built. Dick’s legacy with the Silver and Black continues to this day through his son, Bob, the Raiders current equipment manager. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Romanski family at this time.”
Romanski joined the Raiders in 1963, the same year that Al Davis was named Head Coach and General Manager of the American Football League franchise.
