The obvious question for Mario Edwards Jr. was how he was feeling after Saturday’s game, his first of the season.
But maybe we all should have been worried about how he was feeling before the game. After all, the defensive lineman has had a career-threatening neck injury and then a serious hip injury in the past year.
“He has the heart of a lion,” defensive line coach Jethro Franklin said before practice Wednesday. “To be able to go through what he’s gone through and come back, you just take your hat off for the courage that he has.
