Las Vegas Raiders fans can be forgiven at this point for believing that their team simply cannot catch a break.
During the second quarter of the Raiders’ defensive struggle against the Denver Broncos, offensive guard Jackson Powers-Johnson went down with an ankle injury and did not return to the game. The maligned offensive line had already taken its lumps, with left tackle Kolton Miller still yet to return to the lineup.
Now, it appears as though the Raiders will be without another core player in the trenches for the foreseeable future.
On Tuesday, the Raiders officially placed Powers-Johnson on injured reserve, ensuring that he will miss at least the next four games.
