Raiders hopeful right tackle Trent Brown can return to play Cleveland on Sunday

The Las Vegas Raiders may soon get reinforcements for their offensive line that was under major stress for the past week.

Raiders coach Jon Gruden said Monday afternoon that his “fingers are crossed” standout right tackle Trent Brown can return and play at the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Brown missed the Raiders’ 45-20 defeat at home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday because he is on the reserve-COVID-19 list. Brown was placed on the list Wednesday.

However, Gruden said Monday that Brown is feeling good and they hope he can pass a series of coronavirus tests to be reinstated in time to play against the Browns.
