The Las Vegas Raiders have now lost seven games in a row and are 2-11 on the season. In a year where all of this change was supposed to bring some level of competence, the complete opposite has happened. The main moves this team made were hiring Pete Carroll and trading for Geno Smith.

On paper, those moves weren't bad, as both Carroll and Smith were good, not great, at what they do, and the Raiders weren't really trying to contend for a Super Bowl or anything. They just needed some upgrades and stability for a few years.
