ALAMEDA — The Raiders’ offensive line was one of the worst in the NFL last season, paving the way for Derek Carr to absorb 51 sacks.
Rookie left tackle Kolton Miller and rookie right tackle Brandon Parker struggled more often than not. Left guard Kelechi Osemele and right guard Gabe Jackson battled injuries. Center Rodney Hudson might’ve been the best performer on the entire team as the only true constant among Carr’s front five.
Coach Jon Gruden and general manager Mike Mayock hope Miller and Parker make sizable leaps in Year 2 with a year of learning under their belts.
