Former Las Vegas Raiders general manager Tom Telesco made plenty of swings in free agency during his only season at the helm, with defensive tackle Christian Wilkins serving as his crown jewel.
Wilkins signed with the Raiders on a four-year, $110 million contract to give Maxx Crosby a proper running mate on the defensive line. However, those dreams went unfulfilled, as a Jones fracture in his foot ended Wilkins’s maiden season in Las Vegas after just five games. Since that time, updates on Wilkins’s health have suggested a setback in his recovery, with the defensive tackle being in and out of a walking boot all offseason and not participating in practices.
