Raiders DT Darius Latham suspended four games for violating NFL substance abuse policy

Monday the NFL announced Raiders second year defensive tackle Darius Latham has been suspended for violating the league’s policy on substance abuse. No further details have emerged as of yet with regard to the violation.

Latham’s suspension begins immediately, making Latham eligible to return as of November 6, just before the bye week, which means his first game in which he’s eligible to play will be the team’s week 11 game against the New England Patriots in Mexico City.

The 6-5, 305-pound defensive tackle went undrafted out of Indiana in 2016 an appeared in 14 games as a rookie, posting 17 combined tackles (8 solo) and one pass defended.
