Los Angeles stadium plans between the Raiders and Chargers took another step forward Wednesday as the signatures were approved which will put the project on the ballot for a special election. This means the process moves along more quickly.

Carson2tegther's football stadium initiative has qualified for the ballot in the City of Carson following completion of petition signature verification by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk and his staff.
The Registrar-Recorder's office today notified Carson officials that a sufficient number of signatures had been obtained for the Carson2gether initiative to move forward.
