Raiders CB Smith exits with apparent arm injury

TAMPA, Fla. -- Oakland Raiders cornerback Sean Smith suffered what appeared to be an injury to his left arm or shoulder on the second play of their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In breaking up a pass to Mike Evans, Smith got his left arm caught underneath the Bucs wideout as both players landed on the grass. Smith, who signed a four-year, $40 million free-agent contract with Oakland this offseason, was writhing on the ground but walked off the field under his own power.

No update had been given on Smith's condition.
