Round 1 goes to Derek Carr.
The Raiders quarterback wasn’t flashy Sunday, but neither was his counterpart in Oakland’s 33-16 victory over the Jaguars in Jacksonville, Fla.
Blake Bortles was the first quarterback selected in the 2014 NFL draft, going No. 3 overall. Carr was fourth among QBs, chosen with the 36th pick.
In the first meeting between the friends, Carr had fewer yards but was more effective in securing the victory.
