OAKLAND — We take a break from the Raiders regularly scheduled program for something completely different.
Tellingly, it came with the same result.
The Raiders beat the Los Angeles Chargers 26-24 at the Coliseum, bringing down the curtain on prime time games in Oakland. They’re 5-4, with upcoming games against Cincinnati (0-8) and the New York Jets (1-7) and no sane person can deny the Raiders have put themselves in position to make a run at the postseason.
It wasn’t so much that the Raiders beat the Chargers that was impressive as the way they did it.
