NEW ORLEANS — Former Raiders safety Charles Woodson, in his new job as ESPN analyst, shocked the world last week when he picked Oakland to beat Green Bay in the Super Bowl. The prediction was met with small smiles and almost yawns in the Raiders’ locker room.
“Big bro always sets the standards high,” defensive end Khalil Mack said. “Gotta try and reach those expectations.”
It starts Sunday in the Superdome, against what looks like a vulnerable Saints team.
Mack, who Woodson picked to be the league’s Most Valuable Player, and his teammates haven’t tuned out all of the preseason hype.
