Raiders’ Antonio Brown will play Monday night against Denver, Gruden says

After all that, Antonio Brown will take the field for the Raiders Monday night against the Denver Broncos, Jon Gruden said Friday at practice.

Brown’s had issues from his helmet to his frost-bitten feet this preseason, culminating in a shouting match with general manager Mike Mayock in which the wide receiver reportedly called Mayock a “cracker” and hurled swear words at him.

Friday morning, Brown gave an “emotional apology” to the Raiders in a team meeting, flanked by team captains.

“Antonio is back today,” Gruden said Friday at practice. “We’re very excited about that, ready to move on.
