Raiders add free agent defensive end Kasim Edebali

With an open roster spot after trading Gareon Conley to the Texans, the Raiders added journeyman defensive end Kasim Edebali.

The 6-2, 253-pounder started his career with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Boston College. He spent his first three season in New Orleans, putting up a combined 8.0 sacks in that time. His best season was 2015 when he put up 5.0 sacks, six QB hits, and 4 tackles for loss.

The past couple seasons he’s bounced around a bit, spending time with the Broncos, Rams, Lions, Bears, and Bengals.
