Poll: Should the Oakland Raiders trade Mychal Rivera?

Oakland Raiders tight end Mychal Rivera is reportedly on the trade market, ESPN’s Adam Schefter breaking the news that general manager Reggie McKenzie is open to shopping the 2013 draft pick. A logjam at tight end with Clive Walford and Lee Smith making Rivera an expendable piece in the Raiders longterm plans.

The news brings up the debate over whether the Raiders are making the right move in shopping a player who has shown promise in the past as a receiving playmaker. Four touchdown seasons in each of his first two years with Oakland making Rivera the top target early in his career before the Raiders drafted Walford in the third round of last year’s draft.
