One thing that was abundantly clear when the Las Vegas Raiders hired head coach Pete Carroll was that they were getting one of the fiercest competitors in recent NFL history.
Despite being the oldest head coach in the league at 73 years old, Carroll still finds ways to be the most energetic person in the room. He proved that multiple times during his tenure with the Seattle Seahawks, and that fire has not been burnt out yet. With Carroll now looking to blend new-age analytics into his old-school “always compete” approach, the Raiders should be a much better coached outfit than they have been in recent years.
