One of the defining features of the new Las Vegas Raiders stadium currently being built is that it will attract major events such as Super Bowls, Final Fours, major music concerts and college bowl games. It will be a palatial stadium in a premier, easy-to-reach location making it ideal for major events of all kinds.
Today, the PAC-12 conference announced that they will be relocating the PAC-12 Championship Game to the new Raiders stadium for the 2020 and 2021 seasons and possibly beyond that. It makes a ton of sense, as Vegas is a central location for every team in the conference and the PAC-12 conference basketball tournament is already held in Las Vegas.
