Much has been made about how bad the Oakland Raiders secondary has looked during the preseason. Admittedly, this was the biggest weakness of the team last year. While general manager Reggie McKenzie used his first two draft picks to bolster the secondary, neither have played in the first two preseason games. That’s about to change when Obi Melifonwu suits up for the Silver and Black tonight.
Melifonwu is the No. 56 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Despite playing for a school better known for its basketball program in Connecticut, the former Husky was able to elevate his draft stock considerably after a great week at the Senior Bowl down in Mobile.
