Time may be running out with OTA’s already in progress, but there still remains a sizable chunk of free agents who could help contribute on NFL rosters. The Oakland Raiders are no different and could certainly use some extra veteran presence.
Besides, head coach Jon Gruden and company have had a knack for bringing aboard veteran players past their prime over the past two years meaning that free agency in May is ideal for a team shopping spree.
Partially kidding of course but in reality, there’s nothing wrong with adding a few veteran names late in the spring to help fill out the roster.
