Yesterday, as part of a seemingly coordinated media blitz by those who want to see the LA Rams relocated to Los Angeles – despite having a very strong stadium proposal available in Saint Louis – LA Times columnist Chris Erskine put out a piece entitled “Raiders need a Coroner, not a Coach” in which he laid out his reasoning for not wanting the Raiders to relocate to Los Angeles.
Erskine, who is a white man in his fifties, has trolled people before with his ridiculous “Millenial Pledge” piece. He isn’t a sports writer per se, and his regular contributions to the Times are his “Man of the House” column, in which he rambles about the trials and tribulations of being an upper middle-class white father living in the suburbs and his “Middle Ages” columns that feature in the home and garden section.
