The Oakland Raiders looked awful in this game from start to finish as the New York Jets dominated the entire game. The Raiders struggled early because of dropped passes, not being able to cover the crossing routes, and not being able to run the ball.
On offense, Derek Carr moved well and was throwing solid passes, but drops on third downs by Hunter Renfrow and Tyrell Williams killed the momentum of two drives that could have changed the pace of the game altogether.
The Jets have the best rushing defense in the NFL, so it was clear that the Raiders would struggle to run the ball, but nobody could have predicted Oakland to struggle to move the ball altogether for the entire day.
