The Oakland Raiders have traveled across the pond to take on their former AFC West rival Seattle Seahawks – continuing the NFL’s attempt to expand the reach of The Shield globally, in another International Series game.
This year’s game in London pits two teams who are struggling – the Raiders come into the game 1-4, while Seattle is 2-3 on the year. To say this is a must win for the Raiders would be something of a vast understatement. It’s going to be tough enough for them to dig themselves out of the 1-4 hole they’re in, and can’t afford to make it worse by going 1-5.
