The Tennessee Titans tried to pull a fast one on the Oakland Raiders right out of the gate. Titans kicker Ryan Succop tried an on-side kick on the opening kickoff. Raiders rookie safety Shalom Luani wasn’t biting on it.
That would set up terrific field position for the Raiders to score their first touchdown of the season. It would be an eight-yard pure hustle play by wide receiver Amari Cooper on a pass from quarterback Derek Carr.
Tennessee would respond with a well-orchestrated drive of its own on the next possession.
