It appears Marshawn Lynch is going to have an active re-retirement.
ESPN has reported that the former Cal Bear and Oakland Raider is filing a trademark for, “Take care of yo’ chicken.”

The wonderfully expressive Lynch coined that phrase after his Seattle Seahawks were defeated in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs. Though he was essentially retired from the league, he rushed to fill the Seahawks’ dearth of healthy running backs. In three games he ran 30 times for 67 yards and two touchdowns.
After Seattle’s final game, Lynch was asked if he would return to football next season.
