Near the beginning of his tenure as Raiders GM, Mike Mayock traded a third rounder and a fifth rounder for a star receiver who required a big raise as compensation. The next month, he traded up and drafted receiver Hunter Renfrow in the fifth round, costing him a fifth and a seventh.
Five months later, Mayock traded a sixth rounder to the Green Bay Packers for receiver Trevor Davis and less than a month later he traded a 2021 fifth for receiver Zay Jones.
In Thursday’s first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Mayock selected receiver Henry Ruggs III with the 12th overall pick.
